Andrew, 15, is in 10th grade this year. He loves anything football, but is a HUGE Alabama fan! He never misses a game and will watch them replayed on ESPN whenever able. Andrew also loves the pool, pool basketball, tennis, golf and adaptive skiing. He loves to hang out with his friends, too.

Andrew knows he has A-T and hopes they will find a cure or treatment soon. He works hard at school and to keep his independence. His brother is happy to help him with that and gladly points out jobs around the house that he can do… they keep each other on their toes.

Please consider joining our monthly giving circle. Every single day Andrew benefits directly from recently completed research. Luckily he has been ahead of the curve because as we have learned more, it has immediately been applied to Andrew and many other A-T patients. However, it is crucial that we continue this life-saving research so the children don’t pass the curve!

We’re asking you to be part of our Giving Circle by donating $10 or more a month using the donation form below. Your monthly gift will help maintain a constant means of support for research funding. The advancements we have made and are making can be attributed to the families and friends like you who generously support our mission to find life-improving therapies and a cure for A-T. Every dollar raised is a dollar filled with hope.

Our Giving Circle donors will receive:

  • A listing here on our Giving Circle webpage
  • Special updates
  • A yearly tax receipt
  • The satisfaction of knowing that your dollars are hard at work

Imagine a disease that combines the worst symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, and cancer. Children with A-T are usually confined to wheelchairs by age 10 and often do not survive their teens. Because A-T is a multi-system disease, scientists believe that A-T research will help more prevalent diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, AIDS, and cancer.
