Hazel is in middle school! She spends her time horseback riding, riding her bike, playing wheelchair basketball and hanging with family and friends. She loves to learn about the natural world and has a real soft spot for animals. She is smart, funny, sweet as can be and loved like crazy.

While Hazel’s A-T diagnosis raises some unknowns for the future, we know one thing is certain, we are committed to raising as much money as possible to find a cure for our baby and the hundreds of other families being challenged by A-T. Please join us and support Hazel and the A-T Children’s Project.

Imagine a disease that combines the worst symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, and cancer. Children with A-T are usually confined to wheelchairs by age 10 and often do not survive their teens. Because A-T is a multi-system disease, scientists believe that A-T research will help more prevalent diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, AIDS, and cancer.
