Fueling Hope with JustGiving Fundraising

Camila and her family are well on their way to meeting their goal!

Deciding to start fundraising in honor of the A-T warrior in your life can feel both exciting and slightly daunting, especially if you are new to the fundraising world. We are here to help! The A-T Children’s Project (A-TCP) has an easy way for you to personalize your fundraising and maximize your impact.

We partner with JustGiving, a user-friendly peer-to-peer fundraising platform that lets you create a custom fundraising page that reflects your story. You can add photos, share your progress and connect with donors in a meaningful way. Here are some inspiring examples of pages that are making a difference by raising money for the A-TCP:

💪 Mission Max: justgiving.com/fundraising/mission-max
🦸‍♂️ Connor’s Superheroes: justgiving.com/fundraising/connorssuperheroes
🏃‍♀️ Emily Schmitt Lavin: justgiving.com/fundraising/EmilySchmittLavin

Don’t forget to scroll through the heartwarming comments and messages of support from the donors! We love that donors can leave special comments – it’s so uplifting to see and a great reminder that we are all in this together. Supporters can donate to these fundraising pages in honor of a birthday, special event, or simply because they love their A-T warrior.

And, it’s not just families who are making a difference with JustGiving. Take Emily Schmitt Lavin – a loyal CureTeam runner who made her half marathon into a fundraiser! Check out her update from race day with a photo of her team cheering her on. Emily is a wonderful example of how JustGiving pages can turn any occasion into a fundraiser.

Are you ready to help move A-T research forward? Join us in our fundraising efforts today! We are so grateful to everyone who is fundraising! The work of the A-T Children’s Project is only happening because of the grassroots efforts of families and friends of people with A-T. Together, we are making a difference – one step, one donation and one heart at a time. Let’s do this!
