This is an important update regarding the 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
Due to COVID-19, runDisney has officially decided that the 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will now be a virtual event. While we are disappointed that we won’t be able to spend the weekend with you in person, we are optimistic that we will still have a magical time participating virtually with you!
a-t cureteam Participants may choose 1 of 3 available options. You may:
1. Keep your registration and participate in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend virtually; or,
2. Cancel your registration and to donate your registration cost to the A-T Children’s Project, or,
3. Cancel your registration and receive a refund of the registration fee from the A-T Children’s Project.
Should you opt to participate in the virtual race:

runDisney Race distance medal(s) and participant shirt(s)

runDisney Digital Bib and finisher certificate

runDisney Digital Toolkit including start/finish line and mile markers

runDisney Digital Goody Bag

Athletes registered for select events will receive a Digital Disney Gift Card for the following amounts: Marathon ($70), Half Marathon ($70), 10K ($30), 5K ($10), Challenge ($110)

Those who purchased a race slot through the A-T Children’s Project and wish to participate in the virtual race will have a reduced fundraising minimum of $300.

Participants must submit their decision below to continue in the race virtually by October 2,2020.

Participants must register for the race with runDisney. The A-T Children’s Project will send registration links as soon as we receive them from runDisney which should be in October.
Should you choose to no longer participate and to donate your registration cost to the A-T Children’s Project:

You will no longer be registered to participate in the 2021 Virtual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

Your registration cost will be considered as a donation to the A-T Children’s Project. We will send you a receipt accordingly.
Should you request a refund:

Participants must inform the A-T Children’s Project of your request for a refund by October 2, 2020.
